No trace (last photo) remains of a stunning Silver Maple that, healthy in 2004 (first photo), used to welcome visitors to Willow Valley Communities.
This tree and a twin Silver originally stood in front of a farmhouse that preceded the current Welcome Center. In 2004 the survivor had a trunk circumference of 208 inches, a height of 80 feet, and a spread of 75 feet. The tree, now gone, still appears in marketing photos of WVC.
