Go Native offers “the largest selection of eastern native woody plant species available anywhere.” This means nearly 500 species of eastern North American native trees and shrubs. Areas of focus include: (1) increasingly blight-resistant, 100% American Chestnut (Castenea dentata); and (2) development of volume growing techniques for the six different species of hickory which heretofore have been difficult to transplant.
