
Two of these lollipop topiaries (plants clipped into ornamental shapes) decorate the entrance of Miesse Candies. The glaucous bluish-green leaves of these slow-glowing plants are in the juvenile, needle-like form that some False Cypress show. (Identification not 100%.)
This amazing species provides so many odd-looking cultivars that the 60-foot natural form would be unrecognizable to most horticulturists today. The cultivars are the only selections carried in the nursery trade.
